Here is a good news for users who were waiting for the launch of the Sony Xperia Ion device. It is available for $99 at AT&T or $50 at Best Buy when you commit yourself to an attached two year contract.
This is Sony’s first LTE device to bear the Xperia name. The device bears very good specifications with 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 in charge, backed up by an Adreno 220 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of user space (expandable via MicroSD up to 32GB). There is a 12-megapixel camera with Sony’s Exmor R backlit sensor, while at the front there’s a 1.3MP camera for video calling purposes.
Xperia Ion is also PlayStation Certified, guaranteeing a high quality Smartphone gaming experience. The device definitely looks great on specifications and if early reviews are to be believed, the device is good.
