The Sony Xperia Miro is now available in the United Kingdom via Carphone Warehouse and Clove.
- Carphone Warehouse offers the Xperia Miro on Pay Monthly plans (for free starting at £15.50 per month), as well as on Pay As You Go (for £149.95, plus £10 top up). They are offering the device in two colors, namely black and white.
- Clove is also selling the Miro unlocked with an attached price of £165.60. The availability details remain same as that of above.
With respect to specifications, the device runs on a single-core 800 MHz processor with a RAM of 512 MB RAM. The phone is definitely not fast, but will do the work when it comes to social networking with some casual gaming.
Further, Sony Xperia Miro has an internal memory of 4 GB with MicroSD slot for additional expansion up to 32 GB, HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WI-Fi Direct, DLNA, WI-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 with a2dp profile, 5 MP rear and a front VGA camera to its credit. The rear camera module records video at VGA resolution with a frame rate of 30.
The Smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is powered by a Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery to take care of the usage requirements. As of now, we haven’t heard anything from Sony about the upcoming availability of Jelly bean update in future.
If we see the segment and the price for which it retailing, there is nothing to complain and more to like about the phone.
