
Sprint is making few policy changes for consumers related to returning, purchasing terms, trail terms of smartphones. The cellular operator is introducing changes which can be bad from consumer point of view. Below are laid changes to be implimented.
- Sprint’s return period for a device has been shortened from 30 days to 14 days.
- Return free program which allows you to return a device back within purchase of a month will be scrapped.
- Sprint Premier program that allows you to update to two premier phones in a year will be scrapped by October and consumers will be shortly informed about the discontinuation of the offer.
“Beginning Sept. 16, Sprint is updating its return policy for new lines of service, upgrades, accessories and devices. We will share more details of the new Sprint Satisfaction Guarantee at a later date.” – Sprint spokesperson told Engadget.
According to Sprint, they want to concentrate more on features like unlimited data plans and few others which consumers want and look for. We don’t know, what to make out of scrapping of these goodies as we don’t have the data of popularity of these offerings.
