Symbian Foundation showcases Symbian Operating System V3

Symbian 3 is scheduled for release this year, probably in the last quarter. There are no phones with working demo yet, but few aspects of user interface were peeked to a  live audience through laptop. The emphasis was more on multitasking, where multitasking was not limited to just opening up of multiple windows at a time but rather processing of functions simultaneously. They have also added more options to homescreen by extending the number of homescreen and more intelligent placement of widgets. The have further enhanced the performance of graphics by 3 percent.
