T-Mobile and Vodafone users in UK will be able to purchase the new iPad (2012) from today. Though, it was already known that the carriers will be shipping the device in UK, the pricing details were still kept under the know-how of only few.
T-Mobile will be shipping the device with same prices of Orange, and it seems that there are instructions by Apple for not to be very competitive. Existing T-Mobile users will be able to get the new iPad 16 GB for £199 on a £25 monthly plan when signing for a 24 month contract agreement. New customers will need to give £30 more for the device.
The 32 GB version of the iPad will cost £249 for existing customers and £279 for new customers. The £25 plan will provide users with 1GB monthly data and 1GB ‘quiet time’ data.
Vodafone will be selling the 16 GB version of iPad for £199 with £27 monthly payment for a period of 24 months. The plan also includes 2GB of data and 1GB BT Openzone. The 32GB flavor of the new iPad will be available for £245, while the 64GB version goes for £275. You can see the complete details here.
