Tumblr now compatible with iPad, uses navigational sidebar for better browsing

Tumblr, the blog hosting platform has finally updated it’s iOS app with the support for iPad. The company didn’t want to make an app which was relying on HTML 5 for delivering services. Instead, it was focused on making an app with native code that would make it run faster, and handle requests in a better approach. They have finally delivered the app, and now it’s available for download.

The Tumblr app for iPad introduces a new navigational left sidebar that allows users to explore functions.
