The developers behind VLC is making the app available across all major phone operating systems, and Windows Phone too has availed the app. VLC app doesn’t need much introduction as most of the users are already familiar with it on desktops.
The app will allow you to stream videos from your PC to phone. As of now, Windows Phone OS doesn’t support the true streaming capabilities but VLC codec takes care of things.
The VLC media player for Windows Phone has a remote control interface and supports many video formats. For the purpose of live streaming, it only supports WVM3.
