The white Nokia Lumia looks dazzling and is now available for pre-order in the UK for an attached price of £429.95, sold SIM free and unlocked including VAT. What surprises is that the device was only confirmed a day ago and is already up for pre-order.
The specifications are similar to other coated colors. It uses Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), has dimensions of 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm with a weight of 142 grams and will be made available in three colors namely, Black, Cyan, Magenta. The phone features a 3.7 inch AMOLED Capacitive ClearBlack type, 16 million colors display that will render a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
It has a single core 1.4 GHz processor, has Qualcomm MSM8255 along with a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator to make sure that the phone gives you a stellar performance, according to strict compliance norms laid down by Microsoft.
Further, the smartphone possess Accelerometer Sensor, Proximity Sensor, 8 MP rear autofocus camera with dual-led flash and the lens is branded with name of carl zeiss optics and this time, there is no front camera which is a little disappointment but with Nokia backing the camera, the captured images should be good and the impression till now from reviews are definitely positive.
The phone has 16 GB as storage with 512 MB RAM and as with Windows Phone, there is no option of expanding storage further. On the connectivity side, the phone has all the options, 3G with HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, WLAN 802.11b /g / n, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP profile + EDR and microUSB for data transfers from PC. The phone is backed by a 1450 mAh Li-ion battery.
