WinZip for iOS now downloadable for free

Remember WinZip? the first app to introduce the zipping phenomena to the world on Windows and once for a period, it was compulsorily installed on every PC. It had a evaluation license which actually never expired and just got restricted  to showing only.

WinZip is now made available as freeware for iOS (iPhone, iPod and iPad). Below are the officially listed features:

1. Open Zip files and Zip attachments from email
2. Browse and view Zip files, including multi-file attachments
3. Open encrypted Zip files
4. Copy the contents of Zip files to the clipboard
5. View Zip file attachments from webmail (Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc)
6. Zipped file types that can be previewed:
7. .txt, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .pdf, .key, .numbers, .pages, .htm, .htm, .jsp, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .tif, .tiff, .png, .gif
